I got the Steering done and mounted a seat Cushion. I am going to get a jack shaft. Specs Engine- 6.5HP PowerFist Engine - 9.99 Clutch- Comet Clutch 11 # 40-41 I think Wheels- Ride on Lawn Mower Wheels. Frame- ATV shipping crates bolted together, one weld so far. UPDATE: I finished the electric start conversion on the first Honda. I left the pull start top on for backup, which was good because the baterry I picked out for it was dead!

Here I attempt to explain how I am going about building a Go Kart. I stripped most of the parts off of my riding lawnmower to use as a basis for the Kart. The riding lawn mower had a 20.5 HP engine and a transaxle that I will use.

Improvements since part 2: New front tires New throttle bracket New Seat New exhaust system Bigger drive pulley I don't know if I like the exhaust. I may end up putting a actual muffler on it and then the rain cap. In part 4, I will put on the external engine frame, add minor details, and finally drive it.
