1966 Massey Ferguson Electric powered garden tractor with the factory snow plow mounted. Rear tires are loaded and have a set of 2 link tire chains on them. First test for plowing snow, just drove into the bank a few times, tried to show that it can spin the wheels in 4th gear when it can't push any more. I need to get the hang of the trans, so no more gear grinding. It seems to work.

Some video of Jazzy's first mowing test. The grass was 13 inches in some areas and the deck is cutting a little low. That is the main reason for the tire slippage. It was also killing the mower in the high and wet spots. Reversing too fast caused Jazzy's back end to lift, which in turn lowers the deck even more. So I might add some weight. Will be adding some height to the mower with some spacers up front and some tire chains on the drive wheels. I also need to sharpen the blade. Other than that there were no issues. It worked great. I can't wait to mow the lawn again! Control

I got suckered into cutting the grass again, so the Honda mower has to come out and play for the first time in four years, give or take a bit. I got this mower for free off a metal scrap pile. I went to pull it over and see if it had compression, and it surprised me by starting right up. The only problem I had to fix was a missing spring on the drive linkage. Only a new blade and general maintenance since then. It will need new tires soon. I don't know what's with the smoking problem, but it has always done it. I don't think the previous owner took care of it since the blade really didn't have a sharp side and there are chunks of the deck missing. But no matter, it still cuts great.

at about 1/3 through we get into the big creek, and the sucker was deep again, so we headed into it. then some repair work done to the sears :) wonder when the other screw is going to fall into a cylinder... the other head would be alot harder to get off. easier to take the engine off i think. then take the head off. Office chair comfort on the bolens 1050. makes you feel pretty laid back :) though thats not always a good thing when you're rompin.

Craftsman Off Road Machine

Well this is my Craftsman Rider which used to cut grass but now is a mudder/puller I have a 19.5hp i/c briggs opposed twin 6 speed tranny rebuilt with solid rear axle with no spider gears, i had a special hub cut out and made just for this tranny, any machine shop can do that. I have 13" rims with 23" tire diameter. NO brakes yet, have to steal the brakes from the broken transmission. Also PLEASE NOTE: DO NOT COMMENT ON MY CAMERA ANGLE I ALREADY KNOW, I DIDN'T REALIZE I DID THAT. but atleast you can hear a twin run, lol I also wasn't moving very fast because it was just idling and i didn't have the throttle pedal hooked up yet. This was basically a FIRST drive Since May or early june I can't remember, and it was a test drive to see how the trans worked and it did good. no binding like the old trans, and its alot cleaner than the old trans.

The same as if you bought a brand new truck, you wouldn't get in and stomp the pedal to the floor, you do not want to accelerate your mower quickly either. These mowers are extremely powerful and can damage property or hurt someone if you are not careful. Max speed would be used for going to and from the trailer or shed but for cutting grass, you want to go slow for a nice clean cut, especially in the thick wet stuff on hill sides and ditches where these mowers are being most often. Cleaning your mower is best with a leaf blower followed by a hand shine with shop towels and Armor-All or other spray cleaner. Let Armor-All soak into your tires for a nice brand new looking shine! Check engine oil before each use especially when slope mowing. When the engine is running on slopes, keep the front end pointed up as much as possible. Snake your way up the slope starting at the bottom. If you go down too steep of a steep hill with the engine running, black smoke will go everywhere and you will need to let the engine run for a couple of minutes to clean itself out. Well it's a 1970 suburban 12 I got ahold of just about finished restoring I got the sizer plow for it made my own setup to change the angle on it it has 26-12-12 ag tires in back filled with fluid plus two 75 pound wheel weights I went through and made a bunch of trim out of diamond plate for it only thing left is to mount my rear spotlights and get one headlight and she's all done

Requested by a subscriber. Measured the offset from the new wide tires and rims to the stock rims. Only 1/2 inch more offset than the stock wheels, but I am glad that 1/2 inch was there because they wouldn't have mounted with out spacers.

Riding Lawn Mower Maintenance

A well maintained riding lawn mower will not only perform better with regular maintenance, but it will cut easier and last longer. Riding mowers save time and effort and are a great investment for homeowners with big lawns. To clean the mower you will need a wrench, socket wrench, cleaning brush and putty knife, oil container, oil, oil filter wrench, fuel stabilizer, spray lubricant and fuel. Be sure to buy fuel, air and oil filters, new blades, new belts and spark plugs so you can replace these during the maintenance process. To begin, let the mower run for a minute to loosen up the oil and fuel for easy drainage. First clean around the motor for any grass. Disconnect the battery and remove the mower deck and blades. Using a putty knife clean the deck of the mower scraping off any chunks of dirt and grass. Do not use a hose, for the water will cause the mower to rust. The belts and belt covers will need to be cleaned too. If they are torn or cracked, replace the belts. After everything has been cleaned and replaced, install the blades. Checking your oil throughout the season is a great habit to have. The oil lubricates, cools and cleans the engine during operation. Open the oil fill cap and the oil drain cap. Attach the tube and drain the oil. Clean up any excess oil with a rag. Reattach the mower deck. Next put fuel stabilizer in a gas can, then fill the remaining with fuel and fill up the fuel tank. A well maintained riding lawn mower will not only perform better with regular maintenance, but it will cut easier and last longer. Riding mowers save time and effort and are a great investment for homeowners with big lawns. To clean the mower you will need a wrench, socket wrench, cleaning brush and putty knife, oil container, oil, oil filter wrench, fuel stabilizer, spray lubricant and fuel. Be sure to buy fuel, air and oil filters, new blades, new belts and spark plugs so you can replace these during the maintenance process. To begin, let the mower run for a minute to loosen up the oil and fuel for easy drainage. First clean around the motor for any grass. Disconnect the battery and remove the mower deck and blades. Using a putty knife clean the deck of the mower scraping off any chunks of dirt and grass. Do not use a hose, for the water will cause the mower to rust. The belts and belt covers will need to be cleaned too. If they are torn or cracked, replace the belts. After everything has been cleaned and replaced, install the blades. Checking your oil throughout the season is a great habit to have. The oil lubricates, cools and cleans the engine during operation. Open the oil fill cap and the oil drain cap. Attach the tube and drain the oil. Clean up any excess oil with a rag. Reattach the mower deck. Next put fuel stabilizer in a gas can, then fill the remaining with fuel and fill up the fuel tank.
