Just a Short Video of my 12 yr.old Murray 48" cut Riding Mower Tractor - with a 16.5 hp Briggs & Stratton, that never been rebuilt , I keep it maintained myself with regular Oil Changes and my Mower Deck properly greased & lubed, and all the Belts adjusted, and its Never stored outside - always stored in my Garage, along with my other Craftsman DYT4000 Riding Mower Tractor ( See Video). Keeping these properly Well Maintained and "NOT" treating them like their toys and rough housing around on them, and you'll have a lot less problems, and NOT have to work on them as often, that goes for all Mowers ! Keep an Eye for Cracked Fuel lines, change the Fuel Filter often, change the Oil regularly, and the tires properly inflated, and keep those Mower Deck Spindel / Mandrel Housings properly Greased - and the Blades Sharpened , and a good Battery, you'll hardly have a Problem with your Riding Mower Tractor ! Also, I try as much as possible NOT to mow in Extreme Heat of the day, usually Early in the mornings or in the Evenings after 6pm in the Summer, that helps on the Engine and the rest of the mower, especially the belts & Bearings in the mower Deck. Also keeping all the Grass removed off the top of the Mower Deck, after mowing really helps, I use an Electric Leaf Blower to remove all the Grass Clippings off the top of the Mower Deck, from around the pulleys and Spindels and belts, after every mowing, and I've got 1.5 Acres to mow, along with helping some of the neighbors mow ...
