What better way to spend your summer than making a lawnmower go dangerously fast? I got this Craftsman mower a week ago. It is no longer a mower ha ha. I did a conventional pulley swap, with a 3" on the tranny and a 5" on the engine. I only did third gear because I did not want to go faster driving with only one hand. In 5th gear, it tops out at around 35-40 mph. It stalls because I did not set the idle jet on the carb and the engine was cold. Whoops. Still to come: Independent front suspension Wider rear end MAYBE a turbocharger Brakes Black fenders, not that ugly blue Roll cage with engine cage and brush guard (it's my mudding mower too) Lights everywhere! ... and a fire extinguisher.
